51st Butter Sculpture Unveiled at New York State Fair
“Milk. Love What’s Real” is the theme of the 51st butter sculpture at the New York State Fair, sponsored by Wegmans. The sculpture features a grandfather and child dunking cookies in milk, and a young couple sharing a milkshake, illustrating how our love for real dairy connects many cherished moments in our lives.

New York State Department of Agriculture and Markets Commissioner Richard Ball, New York State Dairy Princess Reegan Domagala and dairy farmer Joel Riehlman of Venture Farms in Fabius, N.Y., participated in the unveiling, with their photo even landing in the New York Daily News and in Times Square in New York City!

Tips for Fair Exhibitors Talking with Consumers 
When exhibiting cattle at shows and fairs, consumers have questions about how your animals are cared for and where their dairy products come from. ADA North East developed a handout that helps answer consumer questions related to milk, cow care, environmental impact and how milk gets from farm to fridge.

Retail Dietitians Receive Dairy Messages for Food Prep
ADA North East partnered with Cabot Cheese to host a family meals webinar for 52 ShopRite registered dietitians in advance of Family Meals Month in September. Featured speaker Jessica Levinson, ADA North East spokesperson and nationally recognized registered dietitian, highlighted ways the retail dietitians could better show their clients how to prepare meals with dairy.
