Vancouver and BC’s robust cleantech ecosystem is supporting startups across the province as they develop groundbreaking climate technologies. Fifteen of these companies have been selected to compete for a $100,000 investment as part of the Vancouver Economic Commission’s Angels for Climate Solutions program. Their proposed ideas are as diverse as the founders themselves, ranging from smart mushroom farming to steel frame housing solutions, circular grocery delivery, and improved data management and efficiency.
At the end of six weeks, five startups will advance to a 10-week training intensive and vie to win the $100,000 investment. The top five will also receive special application support and coaching to submit their solution to VEC’s flagship Project Greenlight program.
