The Lens: Perspectives on economic resilience in Vancouver

Celebrating 24 community champions of Asian descent in Metro Vancouver 

As May draws to a close, so too does Asian Heritage Month, which celebrates and recognizes the vibrant social, economic, cultural, political, research and other significant contributions by people of Asian descent.

Of the innumerable people who have helped build a vibrant economy, we have taken the opportunity to feature 24 remarkable professionals whose work has in some way exemplified or contributed to economic transformation and resilience. Many of them could be considered hidden gems in our economic development ecosystem – people whose profiles may not extend far beyond their respective spheres of influence.

It is by no means an exhaustive list and we look forward to spotlighting many others in the future.
