Work has been steadily progressing on the Waitohi Johnsonville Community hub, which will house the new library and link to Keith Spry Pool and the Johnsonville Community Centre. There’s a newsletter to help you keep up to date with the progress of the build, and now it is “branching out” to include information about how the hub will run and to provide links to opportunities for the community to have input. Kia ora from Fraser

Fraser has worked in both the northern and central libraries for over 4 years. As well as customer service, Fraser looks after lost property sorting, booksales, bookbike, rostering and participates in various Council groups: PSA, Queer@Council. As the son of an author/publisher, he has a particular passion for NZ history, Māori and NZ photography related titles. He has an omnivorous taste in music and enjoys listening to his collection of over 500 vinyl, and occasionally plays snooker.
