Planning your landfill visit

We’ve made a few changes which will help improve recycling rates and reduce the amount of waste going into the Southern Landfill. If you’re dropping off household waste at the landfill, you’ll now need to visit the Tip Shop & Recycle Centre first to drop off reusables and recyclables, including ewaste. Then head up to the Transfer Station to drop off green waste, tyres, batteries, hazardous waste and general rubbish. More info about planning your landfill visit is on our website.

The tours are 1.5 hours and take place on mostly flat and easy walking tracks. These tours sell out fast, so secure your spot here on Zealandia's website.
