What makes our Riesling Flour so good?

As our sweetest wine flour you will get flavors of honeysuckle, graham cracker, rose petal and green apple with a lightly acidic finish. Great in spoonfuls of its own and even better in breading, crackers, cookies, pie crusts, cupcakes, turkey gravy, pasta, cheese sauce thickeners and anything in between.

1/4 cup of FLX wine flour per cup of regular flour.
Suggested Varieties:
Merlot or Cabernet Franc
Baked Goods:
1-2 Tbsp per cup of flour
Suggested Varieties:
Riesling, Cabernet Sauvignon, Pinot Noir, Red Blend
Roux, Sauces, Soups, other Thickeners:
For Roux --
It's equal parts fat to flour- if using duck fat, Pinot Noir or Red Blend should be used.
If making turkey gravy or other white meat gravies, use Riesling as the thickening flour
Roll meats in wine flour before adding to soups or stews, the meats will cook and thicken the broth at the same time! Or you can add wine flour  directly to broth as long as you use no more than a 1/2 tablespoon per cup of liquid and you bring the soup to a boil for at least three minutes. Dark flours go with dark meats. light flours go with white meats.
Add a tbsp per cup of milk/cream to cheese sauces, stirring frequently.
Sprinkle on everything to get that added nutrition and flavor!
Make sure that for any sauces you add wine flour to, that you have the mixture on high heat for at least three minutes.
