Mercantile Center

All of us at Mercantile Center wish that everyone is enjoying the fall foliage and keeping warm as we head towards the final stretches of 2018!

We had an awesome October this year! Yesterday, Mercantile Center hosted a Halloween event for our tenants. Here's a quick recap:

Tenant Halloween Event!

The few hundred in attendance enjoyed hot and cold cider, cookies, donuts, pumpkins, and our costume & 'guess the candy corn' contests! So many creative and fun costumes roamed the lobby thanks to all who participated!

Check out more of the thrills below!

(Total count for the Candy Corn Prize Giveaway was 963).

Another great event with property management and tenants enjoying the festivities!
Full steam ahead into November; during which, we'll be hosting an After Hours Wine Tasting - a great time to sample new wines for you to feature at your upcoming holiday get-togethers.

Keep an eye out for future notices on a date!

5 Weird (but true) Massachusetts State Laws!

Although these offenses are highly unlikely to ever be enforced, here are 5 strange Massachusetts laws as noted on as of 2015:

1. In Boston, duels can be carried out to death on Sunday as long as the governor is present.

2. It is illegal to take a lion to the movies.

3. In Boston, it is illegal to bathe unless your doctor gives you a prescription. BUT, it’s also illegal not to bathe before going to bed in Boston.

4. It is illegal in The Commonwealth of Massachusetts to scare a pigeon.

5. Defacing a milk carton is punishable by a $10 fine in Massachusetts.
