After a full day of excitement, hockey fans lined up for the chance to take a photo with the Stanley Cup® at WinterFest.
This was the first time the Stanley Cup® made an appearance in Worcester in over 10 years! The Worcester community showed up in full support and appreciation for this spectacular occasion before heading over to the DCU Center later that evening to cheer on the Worcester Railers as they faced off against the Norfolk Admirals.
Chip Norton, President and Managing Director of Mercantile Center (Center), and the Lieutenant Governor, Karyn Polito (Center) proudly drop the pick at the Worcester Railers game that evening during Mercantile Center Night!

Announcing Our Newest Tenant!

A big welcome to Stability Health, LLC, who will be joining the Mercantile Center family on the 4th floor of 120 Front Street.

Stability Health addresses one of the most critical health care needs in the U.S. – better care for patients with diabetes. Most patients do not receive the care they need due to an acute shortage of diabetes specialists and a health system designed to react to adverse events rather than provide proactive care support utilizing the most up-to-date evidence-based medicine. Its mission is to improve health outcomes for individuals with diabetes by changing the way patients with diabetes in the U.S. receive their care. Stability Health does this with a proprietary clinically-based technology platform that enhances physician effectiveness and helps individuals better manage their own care.

Remember, April is...

Women’s History Month had its origins as a national celebration in 1981 when Congress passed Pub. L. 97-28 which authorized and requested the President to proclaim the week beginning March 7, 1982 as “Women’s History Week.” Throughout the next five years, Congress continued to pass joint resolutions designating a week in March as “Women’s History Week.”

In 1987 after being petitioned by the National Women’s History Project, Congress passed Pub. L. 100-9 which designated the month of March 1987 as “Women’s History Month.” Between 1988 and 1994, Congress passed additional resolutions requesting and authorizing the President to proclaim March of each year as Women’s History Month. Since 1995, Presidents Clinton, Bush and Obama have issued a series of annual proclamations designating the month of March as “Women’s History Month.”
