City Secures Finals Spot in Tourism Awards

The City of Kalamunda has confirmed its place as a finalist in the 2018 Western Australian (WA) Tourism Awards. Recognised for Excellence in Local Government Tourism, the City is credited for its Experience Perth Hills campaign, which shines a light on one of Perth’s hidden gems - the Hills. Winners of the award will be announced later this year.

Kalamunda Takes Out Judges Excellence Award 

The City is making waves with its Hartfield Managed Aquifer Recharge Project, taking out the 2018 Urban Development Institute of Australia (UDIA) WA Division award for Excellence at last month’s Gala Dinner in the Grand Ballroom of Crown Perth. The project has received accolades from far and wide, with the City taking home three awards and four finalist nominations to date.

The City of Kalamunda is gearing up for a month of festivities as part of its annual Perth Hills Spring Festival. Now in its third year, the Festival is a celebration of everything the Hills region has to offer, from spectacular scenery to tempting wineries.
