About us
Advice North Somerset is a two-year project, funded by the Big Lottery Advice Services Transition Fund, to set up an advice partnership in North Somerset.

Annual Conference

Whether we like it or not, the world is going online, so how do we meet the challenge?

You are warmly invited to Advice North Somerset's Annual Conference on Wednesday 16 September where this will be the theme of the event.
It runs from 9.30am to 1pm and will be followed by a light lunch. We are again holding it at Knightstone Housing in Worle.
Please register your interest in attending by emailing Invitations and further details will be sent out shortly.

Help Through Crisis Fund

The Big Lottery Fund has launched a £30m scheme aimed at people currently living in crisis or at risk of crisis as a result of hardship.

Organisations across England can apply for grants of between £300,000 and £500,000 to provide immediate support such as food parcels and a bed for the night, and to then work with people to address the underlying cause of their situation through advocacy and advice on issues such as family breakdown, health problems, homelessness or debt.

Projects will be partnership based, rooted in the community and will focus on supporting people who find it difficult to access support; perhaps because they are disabled, have a mental health issue or live in an isolated rural community.

The closing date for applications is 26th August.

Digital Inclusion Survey

There is still time to contribute to our survey to find out where the public can access IT in North Somerset! If you can't manage the whole survey, all you need to do is press one of the buttons below:

Does your organisation provide public access to a computer?
