Drying clothes by the fire provided ample entertainment for intrepid travelers - the steam coming off was quite impressive.
Should've been riding a BMW! Lukas and Eric clean sandy mud out of the Honda's starter button and throttle tube.
October Ride Reports:

Fall Color Tour:

This is a classic TCD ride for street tourers and adventure riders alike, showcasing Michigan scenery in all of it's fall glory. As is typical, rain was forecast for significant parts of the weekend, giving some potential riders absolutely no choice but to stay home. Those who chose to brave the horrifying conditions were rewarded with such a beautiful fall Saturday that few complained about the evening rain. Despite us riding motorcycles, it seemed the main theme of the weekend was actually overeating, someone was overheard saying, "everything is bigger in northern Michigan!" in response to the massive meals we kept eating.(See the complete write-up on the website)

New & Old business:

Breakfast Schedule (Calendar)The official start time of the Sunday Breakfast has been moved back to 9:00am. While some want to get there early, it makes it difficult for new members to feel welcome when everybody is finished eating before the 9:00 am starting time.  We're a friendly group, let's make sure we roll out the welcome mat for new attendees!

Nothing like almost 1,000 miles of Michigan fall scenery!
Eric and Lukas rode another 100 miles of trails from Lewiston to Leota on Sunday. Too bad they didn't bring beach towels!
As if our breakfasts at The Menu weren't large enough to kill a small horse, lunch gave some of us enough food to save for dinner, too.
This wild Sasquatch came rumbling out of the woods, but he meant no harm!
