For over 25 years The Earth Treasure Vase Global Healing Project, directed by Cynthia Jurs, has visited communities all over the world, bringing a practice of filling consecrated clay vessels with prayers and offerings and ceremonially planting them in the Earth. Through this work of sacred activism, a planetary network of intention has been created, linking locations and communities, activists and elders in a global mandala that each full moon, we connect with in meditation strengthening our collective intentions for the healing and protection of the Earth. Please join Cynthia and David for this deeply moving meditation on February 10th and be a part of generating a little more balance and harmony in our world.

Cerro Gordo Temple Stupa
Here in Santa Fe, some of us at Open Way Sangha are meeting weekly to practice meditation together in order to more easily find stability in response to the times we are living in. If you feel the need for support right now, meditation is very good medicine.

Please join us at the Cerro Gordo Temple every Monday from 5:30 to 7:00 to sit, walk, breathe and strengthen, nourish and deepen our capacity to be with what is arising in our lives and in the world. No previous experience is necessary although if you would like meditation instruction before hand, please rsvp to this email and we meet a half hour before (at 5:00) to go over the details of basic mindfulness practice.

The Cerro Gordo Temple is located at: 1404 Cerro Gordo Rd and parking is next to the public park on Cerro Gordo and the Upaya Zen Center. There is a path from the parking lot and a small sign that identifies the Cerro Gordo Temple.  Additional parking is on the east side of Upaya Zen Center. Please enter the temple through an open wooden door into a courtyard where there is a beautiful small white stupa in the center — the first stupa ever built in America. At the far left side of the stupa there is an anteroom where you can remove your shoes, etc, before entering the meditation space. Please come in and find a cushion or chair. We begin promptly at 5:30 pm. Requested donation is $5 per person and a basket for this awaits your offering just outside as you enter. Your generosity keeps the doors open and the heat on.

May we take refuge the web of life and dedicate ourselves more than ever to our collective awakening. Blessings on the Path!
Cynthia
