A Decade of Hope.

Children of Promise is celebrating what God has done over the past decade and looking forward to what God will do in the next ten years. Over the last decade, the ministry of Children of Promise has:
  • touched the lives of thousands of sponsors and churches,
  • expanded to 12 new countries,
  • and impacted the lives of 11,620 children around the world!
Check out this video from Kyle Hayes, Outreach Pastor at Salem Church of God in Dayton, Ohio. Kyle has traveled to multiple continents with Children of Promise and has seen first hand the unique impact that this ministry has on the lives of children and the global church.
Thank you for the part you’ve played. Whether through prayer, sponsoring children, traveling with us, or giving to our Making it All Happen Fund, your partnership plays a significant role in changing the trajectory of the life of a child. When you change the trajectory of the life of a child, you impact the family, the church, the community, and the country. You have been a part of a decade of hope!

As we look forward to the next ten years, we are trusting God to exponentially multiply the reach and impact of Children of Promise. Join us!

A Special Note from Jeff Jenness

"Children of Promise has a long track record of fiscal responsibility and cost containment…from its very beginning.  Financial best practices are a lynch-pin

of the COP Board of Directors which gives oversight to the work of the Finance Committee. The Directors and Finance Committee have an annual audit performed which is always made available to any of our donors and partners in ministry.  It is a blessing to report to our broader family that our audit for the 2018-19 fiscal year was unqualified and did not include a management letter on any issues.  That is quite a compliment to the Children of Promise staff and their diligence in being the best stewards possible of the precious resources that come from our donors."

A New Year, A New Look

We are so excited to let you in on a little surprise! Over the past couple of months, our U.S. office staff has been meeting with a consultant who has been leading us through exercises of organizational reflection, celebration, and dreaming for the future. The process has been invigorating as we are reminded of how unique the ministry of Children of Promise has been and continues to be. At the end of the process, we’ll have a new look and vocabulary to clearly communicate who we are, what we do, and where we’re going in the future. The vision and ministry will remain the same. We’re just going to look a little different.  The plan is to reveal our new look at the Church of God regional conventions in 2020. The first convention is scheduled for April 22-24, 2020 in Inglewood, California. We hope to see you there!
