Jersey Mike's to commit day's sales to Special Olympics

The 2022 Special Olympics USA Games are three months away, but Jersey Mike's, the games presenting partner, is already getting in gear.

The international sub chain, headquartered in Manasquan, is supporting the Special Olympics through its 12th Annual Month of Giving fundraising campaign, where customers can make donations through Jersey Mike's mobile app or in-store.

And on its Day of Giving, March 30, more than 2000 local Jersey Mike's restaurants will give 100% of the day's sales - not just profit - to the 2022 games and the local state programs attending Olympics in Orlando.

The Special Olympics said the June 5-12 event will be the largest-ever USA Games with 5,500 athletes, coaches, and Unified Partners, as well as 10,000 volunteers and approximately 100,000 plus spectators attending.
