Flow Through Yoga

The February retreat filled up in just two days! Due to such a popular response I am looking at running a second retreat to cater for those who missed out.

Otway Ranges,
Lorne Great Ocean Road
Second Yoga Retreat

The Yoga retreat is an exclusive package limited to only a small group, making the teachers and the program more accessible to each student.
When: Either the last weekend in March or the first weekend in May 2015 starting at 4pm Friday, finishing 3pm Sunday
Where: Otway Ranges & Lorne Victoria.
Accommodation: King Parrot Cottages, just an hour and a half drive from Melbourne and 25 mins drive from Lorne. You can check out this amazing place here The accommodation is communal so we will have one or two large cottages with a commercial kitchen, Yoga Hall and multiple bedrooms. The price quoted below is for a bedroom shared with one other person from the retreat. If you attend the retreat solo you will be matched with someone else amazing of the same gender. If you really prefer your privacy, we might be able to reserve you a 'glamping' tent for an extra $90 per night. Yoga retreats are great places to come out of your comfort zone and make new bonds with fellow Yogis.
Catering: Gourmet vegetarian meals included.

Secret cave nature walk then lunch in Lorne: I am so excited to have the opportunity to offer you the secret cave walk on a hidden beach along the Great Ocean Road. It is believed that the cave may have been an Aboriginal birthing cave and it has a truly magical presence. We will do a guided meditation in the cave after Lorne local and nature expert, Anne guides us across rocky terrain and explains some history and facts about the area. The walk can be a little rugged and may be challenging for anyone injured so please speak to me if you have any concerns. After the walk we will head into Lorne for lunch and you will have free time to shop and go to the beach or rest back at the cottages before afternoon sessions commence.
More about the hosts: You already know enough about me but I just wanted to give you a bit more information about the second Yoga teacher - Telford Scully. Telf is what I would describe as a mature and wise Yogi, quite advanced on his journey. Whilst he is well known amongst the Melbourne Yoga teaching community and is considered a Master practitioner, he keeps a low profile and lives tucked away in a Victorian country town living simply. In my experience, it is the teachers who maintain the true Yogic lifestyle of simplicity and are sometimes less available via social media and other modern means that have the most insight. Telf has been teaching Yoga for 23 years and prior to that has pretty much spent his life in his body. Telf has been a dancer, a martial arts practitioner and delved into pretty much every type of Yoga there is to offer. He used to practice very strongly but now explores a more subtle practice, focused on energy centers and meditation. When asked to describe what style of Yoga he teaches, Telford replied, "Telford Yoga." Telford mainly only teaches at retreats these days and when he isn't you might find him slinking away to Bali for Yoga and Surfing.
Yoga and Meditation: Both Telford and I will run classes and workshops. The schedule isn't finalised but it will include something similar to: Friday evening restorative Yoga and meditation, two Master class workshops concluding with Yoga classes and guided meditation in and outdoors. Everyone will receive a booklet based on the teachings during the retreat and some take home gifts including a Michelle Merrifield (my QLD teacher) Yoga DVD.
Cost: $600 early bird where deposit of $150 is required upon booking
