A Few of My Favourite Things
Grit Laskin Guitars
I am very lucky to own a hand-made guitar made by my friend Grit Laskin. Grit is one of the world's finest acoustic guitar makers and a renowned inlay artist. Right now you have the opportunity to bid on a hand-made Grit Laskin guitar for much less than the normal retail price. Grit's guitars are not cheap but they are worth every penny, and if you are in the market for a high-end guitar, you won't have an opportunity like this again. The auction is a fundraiser for the remarkable Ottawa Folklore Centre and a chance to own a unique and special instrument.
Everyone Can Sing
I have long been a proponent of the idea that everyone can sing. Here's an article with some scientific evidence to back that up.

Tracy Nelson
Tracy Nelson was a singer I discovered by accident in a used record store because her album cover looked like "my kind of music." Recently I stumbled on this amazing article and playlist of her music and it reminded me why I love her so much. If you like powerful, earthy singers, do yourself a favour and check her out.
