New partnership announced between ABHI and the AHSN Network

New funding for immersive content creation
A new £8 million funding competition will enable virtual, augmented and mixed reality experiences – also known as immersive content – to be created more quickly and efficiently by UK content creators. The competition is part of the Industrial Strategy Challenge Fund’s audience of the future programme. Digital Innovation Hub Sprint Exemplar Innovation Projects
Health Data Research UK is seeking to sponsor between six and eight Sprint Exemplar Innovation Projects to inform the full Digital Innovation Hub Programme design and specification. These will demonstrate confidence of concept of both the functions of an interoperable infrastructure and research and innovation relevant use cases. Individual projects will be delivered by academic, NHS and industry consortia. The successful projects will receive between £100,000 and £400,000 funding and will be about six to 10 months in duration, although this will be dictated by the needs of each project. Public Health Research Programme Rapid Funding Scheme
The Rapid Funding Scheme (RFS) offers researchers the opportunity to apply for funds to conduct rapid baseline data collection, as well as other feasibility work, prior to intervention implementation, for unique, time-limited opportunities such as a natural experiment or similar evaluations of a new public health intervention.
