Dear colleague

Our region has hosted several major events focussed on innovation in the last month; EPIC in Preston, organised by Healthier Lancashire and South Cumbria; Warrington and Halton’s Innovation Hub Launch; Alder Hey’s first Festival of Innovation; and this week, the tenth iLinks conference, plus a @Digit@ll hackathon, run by Informatics Merseyside and Alder Hey.

The power of these events should not be underestimated; we have seen many new relationships and partnerships start following presentations, pitches and round-tables; at one of our Eco events a conversation in the queue for coffee led to a new international collaboration!

We are proud to be sponsoring, speaking at or helping organise these important events for the region and I look forward to seeing the fruits of the knowledge sharing and new networks benefit our population.

Yours,

Liz
