July 1 - July 6 – Kenya/Canada
Walter Okelo, the Kenya director, returned from a distribution trip in Uganda.  Pray that the materials given out at the South Sudanese refugee camps will result in many hearing the gospel in their own language.

The trip also discovered many needs for recordings and distribution to be done.  Pray that God will open the door to make recordings in the languages discovered.

James Shikuku, the recordist in Kenya has received his visa and is now in a country in South America.  He is helping train South American recordists.  Pray for James as he is away from Kenya and his wife for the month.

The GRN Canada Board is a committed group of men and women who provide leadership and oversight to the ministry.  Pray for Chris, Tim, Bill, Pratiba, Glenn, Alex and Roy as they serve in this important capacity.

Volunteers are an important part of the ministry. Pray that new workers will be found to help in the office.

Diane Roberts, has been helping with the finances once a month.  She has already come into the new office.  She has agreed to continue helping for the time being.  Pray for Diane, as she provides valuable service to GRN Canada.

Pray for David Elliott, as he serves in this ministry and that he will sense God’s enabling and joy in service.

GRN U.S.A. celebrates its 80th anniversary this year. Praise God for what He has done through the faithful servants with GRN over the years.

Give thanks for our two recordists, Ranjan and Habib, serving in Bangladesh. They work under very difficult circumstances. Pray for God's guidance and protection to be over all areas of their lives and ministry.

The GRN team in Cameroon recently recorded Bible stories in Kanuri, Malgwa, and Bamoun and distributed recordings in Maroua, Ngaoundéré, Yaoundé, and Ebolowa. Pray that the use of those recordings will impact the lives of the hearers. Praise God that several people gave their lives to Christ.

GRN has offices in many Francophone nations in Africa. There is a high priority need for French/English speaking trainers and French-speaking recordists. Ask the Lord to provide new recordists and trainers.

Many mp3 players loaded with GRN evangelism recordings have been placed in the hands of the Hmong people in Thailand. Ask God to draw many Hmong to himself as they listen to the recordings.

Pray for the Ramos family as they move from Brazil to Spain. They will join Joel and Judith Hernandez in order to help with the GRN ministry there.

PRAY for the team in Spain to locate concentrations of refugees that they can link to churches.

Pray for the International office as they prepare for the Council meeting that will take place in Thailand in November.

I praise God for the faithful supporters of GRN Canada. Pray that new prayer and financial supporters will rise up.
The printed copy of the Praise & Prayer is being changed.  Pray for David as he adjusts to the changes.  People now need to request a printed copy or they can sign up for the email version.  I also want to remind you that GRN has a great prayer App, simply called prayer.  I use it on a daily basis.  You can receive prayer requests from the Canadian office and also sign up to receive them from other GRN offices.

The Kenya office needs to move by the end of August.  One possibility is space in a Church that is located in a good area for the mission.  The amount of space is smaller but the rental cost is higher.

Pray for God’s provision of lower rent or increased giving to meet this need.
