25,000 Lutheran High School Youth gather every three years to celebrate something they have in common: life in Christ!
The Big Easy, The Crescent City, "Nawlins" (or New Orleans) is the next venue to welcome "a sea of backpacks" on the shoulders of high school students as they march together through the French Quarter and into The New Orleans Superdome (home of the Saints NFL team) in July 2016. The magnitude of this overwhelming experience hits home when a climactic week comes together for a closing communion service. "It's like the throng of heaven gathered around the Lamb of God that you read about in Revelation," one student explained. "You just have to experience it!"
You're Invited to check this unique opportunity out! We're having an orientation Q&A about the NYG (National Youth Gathering) on Sunday night at 6pm, Oct. 11th and again on Oct. 18th. Please let us know which night, if any, works best for you. Both sessions take place in our Proverbs Coffeehouse at Peace Lutheran Church. So, bring your questions!
