Good afternoon all,

As Laurent has mentioned already on the Braillists google group, we will be
holding our next London Braillists group meeting next Friday, the 20th of
July. The Thomas Pocklington Trust have kindly offered us a meeting room in
their office near Euston Station, with the meeting starting at 5pm. We will
be heading to a local pub for drinks and a bite to eat afterwords.

At the meeting there will be a chance to meet with other Braille
enthusiasts, try the latest Braille Technologies (including the Canute 360
and the Orbit Reader 20), and purchase Braille hand frame and stylus sets
for just £5 to support the work of the Braillists. We will also be
discussing moving towards the formal establishment of the Braillists as a
foundation dedicated to promoting Braille literacy for blind people and
supporting developers of Braille technologies.

As the meeting is taking place at the Thomas Pocklington Trust office, if
you wish to attend it is important to RSPB to Laurent from London
Braillists, so we are able to advise the trust on numbers likely to attend.
Laurent’s email address is:

The Pocklington Trust office is located on the fourth floor of the British
Medical Association’s building. The full address is:

Entrance D,
Tavistock House South,
Tavistock Square,
London WC1H 9LG

The closest tube stations are Euston, Euston Square, Russell Square, and
Warren Street.

We are already looking forward to what promises to be an informative and
productive evening, and hope to see friends old and new in London next

Kindest regards,

The Braillists team
