Recent Braillists meetings
Dublin Braillists - Thursday 2nd February, NCBI, Dublin - Testing Canute Mk11 Prototype
Ed Rogers of Bristol Braille Technology took the latest Mk11 Canute Braille ebook-reader prototype to meet the Dublin Braillists at the NCBI. Another great meeting hosted by Stuart Lawler providing development progress and insights.
A great discussion has started on our forum in response to a call for input from Braillist Paul Sullivan. Paul and fellow Braillist Stephanie Sergeant are attending an event at Birmingham City University as part of our Supporting Tomorrow's Braille Teachers project. They will participate in a demonstration and discussion of Braille technology for students undertaking the Rehabilitation Studies (Visual Impairment) course. There have been many touching, heartfelt contributions showing the social, cultural, personal and practical importance of Braille. You can read the whole discussion on our forum.
