We just wanted to remind you that our third free session on responding mindfully to the COVID-19 pandemic takes place tonight at 8 PM UK time over on Zoom. A licenced counselling psychologist runs the course, which we hope will provide you with some of the tools and skills you need to help you through the coming weeks. Tonight's session will last around an hour.
You can join from your browser at https://zoom.us/j/227981901, or you can phone in on +44 203 481 5240, entering meeting ID 227 981 901 when prompted.
For everyone's safety and peace of mind, we have introduced a new moderation policy for our calls. We have added a waiting room, so there may be a short wait while we connect you into the call. We have also decided to disable the chat feature and mute everyone's microphone when they first join the room. If you have a question you will be able to attract the moderator's attention by raising your hand: ALT + Y on Windows, Option + Y on MacOS, or the * key followed by the number 9 if you are phoning in.
As in previous weeks, we'll also be running an open conference call at 6 PM tomorrow (UK time) for visually impaired people to discuss how social distancing policies affect us in particular. We'll send another email tomorrow, but we'll be using the same Zoom room: https://zoom.us/j/227981901, or you can phone in on +44 203 481 5240, entering meeting ID 227 981 901 when prompted.
We hope this email finds you well, and look forward to talking to you soon. We especially look forward to welcoming those we haven't spoken to in a while to our Zoom room.
With best wishes,
The Braillists Foundation Team
P.S. Daylight savings has started in the United Kingdom. Therefore UK time is now one hour ahead of Greenwich Mean Time. Please check carefully if you are joining us from another time zone.
