Our next outdoor meet will be this Saturday, March 31st at Cedarville University. Sign up here by tomorrow at midnight! Gas fee will be $5 for non-drivers.
You can find the tentative meet schedule here.
Important note about Nationals
Below is an email we received from NIRCA:
With this in mind, please start considering what you want to race at Nationals. You need to run in that event at least once to be able to compete at Nationals. Also, if you are contending for a top seed time, you need to run your fastest time this year in order for Tessa to enter a time to be seated high in heat ranks.
Our next pasta party will be held at 2159 Indiana Ave this Thursday, March 29th at 8 PM. Come stuff your faces with pasta galore. The flash sale will also take place at the pasta party - t-shirts are $5!
There will be a self-defense class for the women of the club on Saturday, April 7th. Cost for the class is free, as Running Club and Second Sole will be subsidizing it for us! There will be brunch and discount sales afterward! Check the Facebook event for the full schedule here, and don't forget to sign up here by April 2nd.
On Sunday, April 8th, Running Club will be going to Hocking Hills! We will be meeting at the Union at 11 AM. Please dress for the weather and bring water, snacks, portable charger, walking shoes/boots and/or anything else you might need. We will be meeting at the parking lot ( 19852 OH-664, Logan, OH 43138) near the start of the Old Man's Cave. If anyone has a selfie stick or a tripod for a group photo, please bring it! Walking to and from Old Man's Cave should take about an hour to complete. The other trails that can be completed are Ash Cave, Cantwell Cliffs, Cedar Falls, Conkle's Hollow Nature Preserve, and Rock House if interested. Sign up for a ride here! If you have any questions, please ask Daisy Okpa.
Lastly, get excited because we will be ordering new jerseys for this upcoming school year! Please fill out the Google form here for Nicole by Thursday, March 29th at midnight! If you are graduating, please do not fill out the form.
