Welcome back! I hope everyone had a great break, and is ready to knock out the rest of the semester. Running Club's spring break crew had a good time on their trip down to Pensacola, most likely coming back with more sunburns than tans, and plenty of good stories!

Our first outdoor meet of the season is finally here! This Saturday, March 24th, we will be racing at Muskingum University. Sign up here by midnight tonight!! Sign up for a ride here.

Important note about Nationals
Below is an email we received from NIRCA:
With this in mind, please start considering what you want to race at Nationals. You need to run in that event at least once to be able to compete at Nationals. Also, if you are contending for a top seed time, you need to run your fastest time this year in order for Tessa to enter a time to be seated high in heat ranks.
Racing committee will be meeting to discuss further details, so keep an eye out for updates!
Workouts from your Racing Committee:
3200m/1600m (tempo), 1600m (T), 1200m (AT), 800m (race), 400m (all out) w/ 400m jog recovery between intervals
3-6 x 5 min (10k pace) w/ 2:15 active recovery
1200 (tempo), 1000 (T), 800 (AT), 600 (race), 400 (build up), 2 x 200 (all out) / 400m jog recovery between reps
2-3 x 1k / 2:30 active recovery + 4 x 300 (mile) / 1:30 + 2 x 200

Skips & accels, 3 x 7 C Lifts
4 x 200, 2 x 300 @ fast full rest
3 x 10 Speed Lifts
3 x 80, 3 x 100, 3 x 150 @ fast (full R) technique

- Our club meets M/W/F at 5:30 PM at the Ohio Union West Plaza, T/Th at 5:30 PM at Jesse Owens Memorial Stadium, and Sundays at 9 AM for long runs. Nothing is mandatory, everything is optional!
