HUNGER AND HOPE

Groceries for Families is a lifeline for the 750 families, made up of 3,000+ people, like Mia’s, who depend on Jubilee Reach for grocery assistance.  Yet, more families are on the waiting list each week.  Many have been referred by the Bellevue School District.

Commit to supporting a family March through June 2020, at a cost of $20 - $25 per week, by donating today. Donate
online or send your check made out to FUMCB to 1934 108th Ave NE, Bellevue, WA  98004.  We’ll do the shopping and handle the rest for you.

Or do the weekly shopping yourself (in person or online) for a list of about 9-10 items.  Drop them off at Jubilee Reach in Bellevue, Thursdays between 7am and 12 noon. Or order online and have the groceries delivered on Thursdays between 7am and 12 noon. straight to Jubilee Reach, 14200 SE 13th Pl., Bellevue, WA, 98007

Let’s all pitch in to help our neighbors so that families and children in our community do not go to bed hungry!

For more information and tons of photos check out the Groceries for Families
blog or email Laurie Edwards for more information.

LECTIO DIVINA: Mondays from 4 - 5:30
Join here. Lectio Divina is a contemplative method of reading the Bible with ‘the ear of the heart’ so as to be transformed, more than simply informed, by the text. We hope this group will help us focus on how the Bible can help to navigate this cultural moment and uplift us with needed hope in this season of upheaval.

The year 2020 was one of both challenges and new growth in our ministries. Click here to check out, "Our Path to Radical Change", presented at our December 2020 Charge Conference by Dave Edwards, Leadership Council Chair. You'll learn more about what we accomplished as a church in 2020, how we got there, and what we foresee for the future.
