This week is the 2nd Sunday: Community Groups
Community Groups are a key aspect of our church identity. Each group meets once a month for good conversation, mutual support, and a healthy dose of laughter and general good-times. Currently, all groups are functioning as Virtual Community Groups, meeting once a month via ZOOM. If you haven't signed up for a group yet, go to and sign up!

Social Justice Updates
Our webpage
has an updated list of Buy Black resources, as well as a form you can fill out to update the list with resources you discover. Submitting the form updates the list immediately, making it easier for others to support recommended resources, too!

Stay up to date with social justice topics by
subscribing to our new monthly social justice email, ACTIVATE, which is full of practical, actionable steps you can take, resources for more learning, and information about upcoming programs.

  • Poetry Read: A Sense of Calling Practice delight with us through the written word as we find stillness together and listen to poetry read aloud. In the Ordinary Season following Epiphany, we contemplate Christ's early ministry and his calling of the disciples; this is a chance to share a poem that has called to you or that expresses your own sense of calling. You are not obligated to read but are welcome to join us for the joy of listening together.
  • Bird Watching Practice Sabbath by reconnecting with nature and the world you live within Expect to see Bald Eagles up the Skagit River; snow geese on the Skagit flats, as well as countless other migrating birds in the area. Truly a day of wonder and surprise. Choose to stop by the Edwards campsite at Bay View State Park (west of Mount Vernon) for a birdwatching map with meetup places and times, join others for a BYO picnic lunch up the river, or congregate around the campsite fire at the end of the day to share your experiences. Masks and social distancing required!
