News iconSheEO's in the making – “Entrepreneurial Woman 2018”

As the start date of the fifth edition of our "Entrepreneurial Woman 2018" project approaches, we at the Luxembourg-Poland Chamber of Commerce are proud and excited to be the hosts of this up scaling initiative.

A group of people sitting at a tableDescription generated with very high confidence
This year's edition will feature a series of workshops, starting September 29 and ending November 12, directed at bright, ambitious women in the Grand Region who are taking their first steps in the business world.

By participating, they will have the opportunity to learn the ropes from experienced professionals in global consulting, whilst getting acquainted with a selection of 12 business topics important to those who want to set up a business in Luxembourg. These topics include taxation (including VAT), types of business legal entities, business license regulations, the ins and outs of networking, business model canvas, marketing strategies, public speaking – how to pitch your business –, business etiquette, rental law, and how to get financing for a start-up

The event is patronaged by the Ministry of Economy of Grand Duchy of Luxembourg and the Polish Embassy in Luxembourg, while also being supported by several integral sponsors to the Luxembourg-Poland Chamber of Commerce.

We offer a selection of participants over 45 hours of intensive training, both in form of theory lectures and hands-on practice with case studies, to ensure that even those with little to no business knowledge gain the know-how to make their way into the entrepreneurial world.Additionally, participants will receive a free, one-year LPCC memberships, in order to further their stance as an active member of the business landscape in the Grand-Duchy.

Despite the ever-increasing female presence in business, female CEO's are still a minority, and the 'gender gap' is yet to be a thing of the past. Initiatives like "Entrepreneurial Woman" aim to bridge the gap between men and women in the entrepreneurial world. Such events provide essential practical skills and a dedicated support base to women looking to enter the Luxembourgish business scene..
