May 12 AAO Partner Program: The Olmsted in All of Us

On May 12, join AAO and the Chicago Architecture Center for The Olmsted in All of Us, a public lecture by Charles Birnbaum, the President/CEO/Founder of the Cultural Landscape Foundation (TCLF). TCLF recently unveiled What’s Out There Olmsted, a digital guide to more than 300 North American landscapes designed by Frederick Law Olmsted, Sr. and his successor firms.

April marks the 200th anniversary of Frederick Law Olmsted’s birth. To celebrate, we're exploring the deeper legacy of this pioneering figure—designer, planner, educator, reformer, advocate, activist, inventor, innovator and enduring influencer.

Date and time: May 12, 6pm CST
Location: Virtual or in-person at the Chicago Architecture Center
Price: Free to AAO members (contact us for promo code for comp tickets)

It's almost summertime!

Have you ever wondered how your summer camps compare to those at other architecture organizations? If your organization hosts PK-12 summer programs, please fill out this brief form and we'll share out the results.

AAO is creating a listing of architecture and design summer camps that will include basic data points like cost, duration, in-person vs. virtual format, etc. We will compile the submitted info and share it with all who complete the survey, so that you can learn about similar programming and know who to reach out to at peer organizations.
