- Looking ahead, here are the 2023 books on architecture and urban design from Actar Publishers (catalog pictured above).
- Also looking forward to 2023, ArchDaily lists 12 upcoming architecture events, which include AAO Member the Chicago Architecture Biennial and the UIA World Congress this July in Copenhagen, of which AAO will take part.

- Columbia GSAPP contends with the legacy of colonialism with a studio taught by Nathalie Frankowski and Cruz Garcia (directors of WAI Architecture Think Tank and founders of the alternative education platform LOUDREADERS) and work by Professor Emanuel Admassu (AD-WO) that explores "how people claim space in contexts that inherently negate their lives."
- The conceptual design for a memorial honoring the deceased migrant workers who built the Qatar World Cup stadium includes one concrete block for each of the 6,751 fatalities.
- The installation ‘La ropa sucia se lava en casa’ (Dirty clothes are washed at home) by architect Tatiana Bilbao at the National Gallery of Victoria examines the ways that space is shaped by dominant ideologies.
