Pro Sayulita's Annual Fiesta on Wednesday was a great success with many familiar faces from town. The space, Brisa Mar Palapa, was donated by Don Pedro's, as well as the food, which was a delicious assortment of tapas. By the time the band, Los Bambinos, started to play, everyone was in full dance mode. Thanks to all who helped make this wonderful event a success!

Cooking in Sayulita Chocolate, Chocolate, Chocolate! Do you know anyone who does not love chocolate? Especially as the finish to a yummy meal? Ina Garten, The Barefoot Contessa, had on line a very easy, very delicious chocolate dessert: Chocolate Pots de Crème. I had always wanted to make it, so one afternoon while searching for a simple dessert to make in my Sayulita kitchen, I decided that since I had all the ingredients on hand, I would give it a try.

Dog for adoption via SayulitAnimals in Sayulita This is Negrito, a true warrior and survivor! He was beaten as a pup because he was slow, and then because he was slow, he got run over and was paralyzed. He was rescued and in only four months of intensive care, treatment, exercise, and love, he now is able to walk and even run. He is wonderful with kids and other animals. Negrito is about 1 years old and is looking for a loving and caring home or foster home. Please give this incredible being a second chance!

Dialing in Sayulita When traveling in Sayulita, Mexico, you may need to get in touch with the property manager of your vacation rental, call to order takeout, or to make a reservation, and it can be very frustrating to figure out how to call a number in Mexico from your US or Canadian cell phone.  Alternatively, you may need to call the US or Canada to change an airplane ticket, call relatives, or report a lost credit card while in Mexico. Dialing within Mexico and International calls made from Mexico can be a little confusing and at times, even frustrating to some, including those who consider themselves well-versed world travelers.
