From The Editor's Desk

Happy Friday!

Sayulita Life has a new member of the team, Amanda Smith. You’ll notice that this edition of El Sayulero has an amazing new look and she’s the one behind it. We’re excited to have her on board!

The second Saturday of the month Nayarit sponsored garbage clean up is cancelled for this month. In January, the clean ups will resume as normal.

With the approaching holidays, we will be sending out a special holiday edition of El Sayulero on Tuesday, December 22nd . This will include Sayulita restaurants hosting holiday meals and events, as well as featured stores that sell unique items that are perfect for gifts. Our regular El Sayulero will resume Friday, January 8th.

Thank you for reading this edition of El Sayulero!

Stacey Elkins

We found a dog and we thought it was mutual love. He followed us everywhere. We found out someone else tried to adopt him and he wouldn't leave Sayulita. We realized it was wrong to deprive this dog of this beautiful town. We gave him
some bacon and he went on his way.

Dumay's Fishing & Snorkeling in Sayulita

Caesar Plascencia Carrillo, the owner and captain of Dumay’s Fishing and Snorkeling, was born and raised in Sayulita. His father was a fisherman and passed his passion for fishing on to Caesar when he was just a young boy. “I remember fishing with a hand line – using hermit crabs as bait. For as long as I can remember, I’ve loved fishing. I like the surprise and the gift of it,” shared Caesar.

Live Music During Sayulita Festival

2015 Festival Sayulita will continue the highlights of last year’s Festival, including a 7 meter beach viewing screen, a signature Master Tasting where a variety of Mexican artisan spirits can be sampled, a family-friendly surf completion, and multi-course food pairing dinners. In addition, this year’s planning committee is partnering with sponsors to add venues and events which will make the festival even more memorable. An indoor film venue will feature matinees, leaving the evenings open for those wishing to partake in the “spirit” and music portions of the festival. Taking Care of Your Computer in Sayulita

In the years I have lived and had my computer store, Sayulita PC, there are two problems and concerns I address almost daily. One is Sayulita’s high humidity, combined with the heat and salt in the air. The second is dust. It is very high, and buildup within a computers cooling system causes computer overheating. I personally lose one or two computers a year due to the Sayulita climate. So, how do we keep our PC’s and MAC’s safe and functional against Sayulita’s harsh elements?

Pet of the Week

I'm Luna, and was, along with my "brother" Peluche, abandoned by my owners. And by abandoned I mean that they moved away and left us behind. Of course after a few days without food and water we started crying, and thank God an animal rescuer heard us and saved us. Now we need a new home. We are both friendly and sociable. Consider us please! Contact SayulitAnimals  here.
