AN INTERVIEW WITH PATRICIA, LONG TIME SURFER
AND OWNER OF PATRICIA'S SURF SCHOOL IN SAYULITA
Patricia Southworth, her husband Paul, and their two (grown-up) children were part of the first Americans who moved to Sayulita to stay in 1996. Twenty-one years later, they are still here. Together they run the very first surf school of Sayulita, Patricia’s Surf School, Capitan Pablo’s Fishing Tours, and beach restaurant. Today Patricia tells me all about the transition from America to the (then) rural town of Sayulita, and about how she fell in love with Sayulita, and created a life here.
AN INTERVIEW WITH MARCO OJEDA:
ONE OF SAYULITA'S GREAT DOG BEHAVIOR CONSULTANTS
Today I am meeting with Marco Ojeda, Dog Behavior, Rehabilitation, and Training, an advocate of fulfilling relationships between dogs and people. Marco´s job is mostly as an interpreter, mediator, and trainer for people and dogs in Sayulita, but he also works closely with SayulitAnimals. I’m excited to meet the man whom I‘ve heard nothing but great things about.

LIVE, LOVE & EAT IN SAYULITA: GREEK MEATBALLS
Making yummy appies in my Sayulita kitchen is always so much fun! I was invited to a potluck dinner the other night and thought that I would make appetizer sized Greek Meatballs to take with me. I walked into the village and was able to buy all the ingredients I needed right here in our puebla! I hope everyone will love them as much as my family does!
Hi, I'm Chaparro, a 10 month old male. Some bad people got me as a pup and tied me up with a rope that was so short I couldn't put my front legs on the ground. They left me like this for hours. After a few months, they put me out on the street where I had to find my own food. Of course I was a nuisance to many, and got hit and kicked a lot. Finally a wonderful soul took me in. I currently live with 9 other dogs and 7 cats. Despite it all, I'm a friendly guy and love life. I need a good home with an active person since I have a lot of energy. Please consider take me home!
