Re-Creation Party

On Oct. 28, we held a party at Agave in Avon to celebrate the unveiling of our new name. High school students and other participants got a hands-on opportunity to learn about live television broadcast at several stations, including two cameras, a video switcher and guest host.

We followed this up with a live broadcast of our program, The Community Project. This episode featured musical act Rocky Mountain Grateful Dead Revue, a history of High Five Access Media, Neat News with Max America and DJ Scratch 'n' Sniff, and so much more. Click here to view The Community Project.

Thank you to everyone who helped make this event a success: Students, volunteers, attendees, cast, crew, Rocky Mountain Grateful Dead Revue and Agave. You all rock!

The Point-of-View Camera
A great video production tool, but not the primary tool

By Holly Trickel

As a video professional who works and plays on the mountain, I see countless point-of-view cameras like the GoPro strapped to helmets, ski poles, boards and more.
