The Community Project
Live from the Library

Episode 23 of The Community Project drops May 26 from 2 to 3:30 p.m. live from the Avon Public Library. In this episode, we'll have The Haps for June, a discussion of summer library programs to stay busy, a local music act to be announced, and a bevy of video pieces. The community is welcome to attend, enjoy the show, and learn more about High Five Access Media and the Avon Public Library.

The Community Project is a regularly recurring TV/web show that highlights what's possible when you get involved with High Five Access Media. Our team of local community producers showcase local musicians, artists, athletes and weekend warriors. As host Holly Trickel says, "We keep it hip, fun and informative." You can watch The Community Project live on cable channel 5, on the interwebs at Live on Five, or on your Roku on the PEG.TV channel.

High Five Access Media Board Meeting

The High Five Access Media board of directors meets May 10 from 4 to 5:30 p.m. at the HFAM Media Center in Avon. Members and the public are welcome to attend and offer input. Agendas typically are completed the Friday before the meeting and are available by emailing J.K. Perry at jk@highfivemedia.org.

High Five Access Media is governed by a group of community volunteers. The towns of Vail, Avon and Minturn appoint one member each to the board. The remaining directors are elected by HFAM members. If you would like the board to consider taking action on an item, please submit a detailed proposal ten days in advance of a meeting. The entire board can be reached at board@highfivemedia.org. Create your community. High Five Access Media is dedicated to offering Eagle County residents, students and nonprofits the opportunity to learn about media production so you can express your ideas and advocate for a cause on local television and the web. Our workshops offer you the chance to pursue a career, continue learning, chase a hobby, and get the word out about your nonprofit. You create the idea, we provide the equipment and know how.
