Hi there <<First Name>>!

Membership Renewals

Don't forget to renew your membership! We will be offering any free spaces to our wait list on Feb. 1st, so please make sure you have renewed your Blue Belles membership before then. Are you waiting for payday or anything else before you pay? Drop us an email so we know you're definitely renewing and we'll agree on how to go about things. Here's a reminder of the payment details:

The fee for 2017 is £39 if Blue Belles is your main WI group, and £19 if you are member of another group (remember that you still have to pay the full fee to your main group!)
Please pay your 2017 membership fee by BACS (electronic transfer) to our Cambridge Blue Belles bank account:

Cooperative Bank
Account number 65663194
Sort code 08-92-99

Make sure your full name is in the bank reference so we know you've paid.

As announced in 2016, our fundraising efforts have generated a small surplus in our accounts which we will be using to fund bursaries for Belles eager to learn new skills. All details can be found on our website, including the application form. You have until March 8th to submit your application and the bursaries will be announced at our Annual Meeting in April.
Save the date! Our Craft Fair returns in 2017!

Full details will follow in the summer but in the meantime be sure to put the date Saturday 25th November in your diary! The fair will be held at the same venue as last year, St Andrews St Baptist Church.

Coming up!

The Sexy Meeting -  Our speaker for February will be Miranda Kane, and we couldn't be more excited about it! Miranda is a writer, comedian, and ex-sex worker; she will be sharing her experience in the sex industry, as well as discussing issues around body confidence. Her show Coin Operated Girl has been a hit wherever she performs, so we know we're in for a treat.
Thank you very much to our very own Victoria Hudson for leading our January meeting - whether it was making a body scrub, sewing a padded felt heart, or painting on glass, there was something for everyone. Do have a look at Victoria's website, where you can buy her creations or join her for a workshop.

Have you voted for this year's resolution shortlist? 28th Jan. Is the last day! Click here for the poll.

WI Life
is looking for members to contribute to the magazine. They now have a Story Suggestion Form which you can use to pitch a story and contact the editor. WI Life is currently working on the following stories, maybe you can contribute?

The Friendship Issue: A feature about different aspects of friendship, like how your WI friendships have impacted your life for the better, or maybe you have a WI friend you’d like to champion, or perhaps you can write about the five qualities a great WI friend possesses?

It happened to me: WI Life want to hear about a defining moment in your career. Maybe you’re retired now, but in your time at work you had some nail biting moments where you were able to make a difference – or make people laugh or feel special?

You joined the WI?! If you’re under 35 (or were under 35 when you joined) and your friends raised an eyebrow at your joining the WI, you’re not alone. WI Life would like to interview members who are juggling their work/family/social life and find time to thrive in the WI. Maybe you set up a WI at 20, or perhaps it brings something to your life you just don’t get anywhere else.
