- Sell said cakes and treats at our stall

Look out for Laura Pryke and Victoria Hudson at the next meeting, or email if you can bake or help on the day
At the last Games Night we were introduced to the absurdity of Exploding Kittens, it was good fun! Join us at The Burleigh Arms next Thursday 17th November from 19:00 until we get bored!

The Facebook event is a good place to check if anyone is planning on being there early to grab a bite, or if there are any last minute changes. Bring your favourite game!
The next book club meeting is on November 30th19:30, at Alice's house. We are reading A Spool of Blue Thread. Everyone welcome!

It will be christmassy book club with mince pies and mulled wine, as December will be about to begin. Alice's address is in the Facebook event, and it would be great if you can join the event so Alice is aware that you're coming.
Your Committee is beginning to think about next year's programme and we are wondering what you'd like to see in it?

Follow this link to give us your comments, or email us at the usual address - we can't promise everything will be included, but we'll do our best!

October Meeting - The Hands On Meeting

We had the loveliest meeting in October! Thank you to everyone who contributed to making it a success: Abi shared her love for watercolours and Lucy introduced us to folk art. Jan gave out lots of info about co-housing and the project she's involved with. Sarah brought her business to us, in the form of amazing shoes, and Victoria did the same though hers took the shape of soaps, cards, and many other beautiful crafts. Committee members Laura, Melissa, and Alice answered questions about our WI, and our campaigns. Oh, and we had cake. Lots of it. Thank you Joanna and Yvonne!

Volunteer to help or bring treats

November Meeting - The Foodie Meeting

You have seen her in the press, heard her on the radio, and if you are a frequent customer at the Black Cat Cafe on Mill Rd. you probably have tasted her food! Rocking Raw Chef Barbara Fernandez will prepare delicious vegan, raw food for us and tell us her secrets to great tasting dishes. Bring a healthy appetite, we'll have cake and treats as well Barbara's food!

We've had a lovely handwritten card from Church End WI, based in Cherry Hinton, inviting us to attend their meeting on Monday, November 7th, at St Andrew's Church. They start at 7:30 and the topic for this meeting is "Music of our Lives - the History of Music from the Beatles to Adele". They are a lovely and lively group, hope youc an join them!
