Why, hello <<First Name>>! Here's your monthly roundup of news and information. Email us if you have any comments or content suggestions.

Welcome new Belles!

Your committee is very pleased (ecstatic, more like!) to announce that as of February our group is full - thank you everyone that renewed their membership, and welcome to all new Belles!

For those of you joining us, and in particular if this is your first experience of the WI, it's worth exploring the following websites:

The National Federation of Women's Institutes
Cambridge Federation of WIs

Bursaries - Don't miss out!

March 8 is the deadline to apply for one of our Belle Bursaries - the form is very simple to fill and you could get up to £100 towards a class, course, or workshop. Form and info here or email to request a form.

There are tons of groups and activities you can join! Most things are organised through Facebook, so make sure you have access to both our private Blue Belles group and the CamCo group.

Mums + Babies - Talk to Veronika if you want to be included
Walking group - organised by CamCity WI, Yvonne Chaplin can fill you in
Cinema group - also organised by CamCity, details in the CamCo group

Would you like to start a new group? Let us know - we'll help you set it up!

We meet semi-regularly at the Burleigh Arms to play board games - details will be available on Facebook when the next one is set up.
We are reading:
Time and time again
by Ben Elton

March 16th, 19:00
Alison Talking is hosting, address to be circulated closer to the date.

Everyone welcome, whether you've read the book or not!
Spring is in the air so SAVE THE DATE for the first Big Dig of 2017!
We'll be heading to the allotment on Sunday March 19th. Come for half an hour or the whole day, bring a picnic, bring your friends and family, this event is open to everyone!

Do you have any old seeds in your garage or spare plants in your garden? All donations to the plot will gratefully received.

Meeting recap - The Sexy Meeting

Easily the funniest, most entertaining, and informative meeting we have had since… ever? Miranda Kane shared her experiences of being a sex-worker-turned-comedian and had us laughing and asking all kinds of questions. Did you like the meeting? Or maybe it wasn't your cup of tea... share your thoughts in the Facebook group! You can read all about it on our blog

Meeting Fairies needed!

Get involved in making our meetings GREAT! You can help by bringing treats (home-made or shop-bought, we love it all!), or by helping with setting up and clearing away our room. It's a quick job that only takes about 10 minutes, and you can sign up for a single meeting or for many.

Next up: March, the Dancing meeting!

Shake, shake, shake! For this month’s meeting we’ll have a dance off to celebrate International Women’s Day - we'll have a belly dance instructor showing us how to get those hips moving. Wear comfortable shoes and an outfit you can move in! If dancing is not your thing, please come and join us anyway: we'll have a lot of news to share and you can always have a bit of cake while the others dance!
